Yagami Light

Me draw Yagami Light for Zuen_Z on Twitch because they drew an art piece for me and I just want to return the kind gesture. They say they like Yagami Light and so here he is! 😆 Is a sketchbook study so everything has been livestreamed from thumbnailing to uhhh.... almost completion. 😅 I don't finish my sketchbook studies on stream because I wanna do them off stream! 😆

When I was figuring out the lineart for this Yagami Light, I be having troubles with my laptop. But then, some time after I finished the lineart, my laptoppy died and went to bara tiddy heaven. ✨😩🙏✨

And so, I be on my mobile era ever since. Including streaming! But I dun hab much problem with streaming on mobile so I'm happy, hehehe. 🤭

Anyways, me stumble every step of the way while studying the arts of Death Note's illustrator, Takeshi Obata. Me see that he loves to use orange in his art covers so I followed his orange theme too. 🤣🧡 Something tells me that it's his favourite colour but I could be wrong. 😗

On the last session of the stream, I was unknowingly experiencing a heat allergy. 🔥🥵🔥I had hives but I didn't know it at the time because I never had a skin-type allergic reaction before in my life! 😵 Almost fainted twice because of he allergic reaction. Once, right after I end the stream and another time in the morning (couldn't sleep because of the hives) when I figured out it's an allergic reaction and I tried to find antihistamine meds. Me got bedrest the following day and night, is big oofsies but I was fine the next day. 😚

So from now on, me gotta make me don't overheat during drawing. I don't want to experience that ever again. 😨 When I was completing this study, I find that I only overheat while drawing, me no know why. I couldn't draw for long hours anymore but I bought fans and stuff to help resolve my overheating problem. Gotta wait for them to arrive.

Other than that heat allergy revelation, I accidentally broke my camera phone holder right after I finished Yagami. 🤣 I can still use it but it's only a matter of time till I completely render it unusable because the grip has actually been a tiny bit smol for my camera phone. But worry not! I have remade my homemade webcam stand to become my new phone stand. Since I don't have my laptop anymore, my webcam be unusable. 😩 But ah well, them's the breaks!

Lots of rambles this time but I feel that it's important to write down what was going behind the scenes while creating this piece. Welp, that's all. 😚
